Load control

The need to monitor the loading of wagons and their masses becomes more important as train operators become independent of owners of railways and maintenance units.
Overweight and improperly loaded wagons not only are a safety risk, but also cause premature wear on the tracks, reducing their lifespan and increasing their maintenance costs.
'Silver Point+' is the most modern solution for the automatic control of wagon and load masses.
An unmanned automatic control station
SilverPoint+' is quick and easy to install, with no foundation work or need to interfere with tracks necessary.
The load cells are installed on the tracks. The computer containing the measurement electronics and processing software is installed in a separate electrical cabinet beside the tracks or in an indoors control room. In either case, 'SilverPoint+' works automatically, as well as unmanned, controlling the traffic and giving alarms of excessive loads or improperly loaded wagons. Prior information on locomotives and wagons is not required, as the system automatically identifies the passing trains, their locomotives and wagons with two, four, six or eight axles.
The system can be enhanced by connecting it to a load cell measuring lateral loads. This will further reduce the risk for accidents.
